The charter includes all of your fishing gear, tackle, bait and equipment. You are responsible for a CA fishing license and any food & drink you want while you are on the water. Fishing License can be purchased online Here.

Captain Don is great with kids and knows how to teach them to fish! Sole-Man Sportfishing caters to all ages, and all levels of expertise, from the novice angler to the experienced angler, young to old, everyone can have a great time fishing with Captain Don.

Our fishing boat will have a private bathroom onboard as well as a heated cabin for the ride out and ride back in with seating and plenty of room. All safety equipment is also provided as well as life jackets for kids.

You can park at Fisherman’s Wharf parking located at 448 Beach between Taylor and Jones. The cost is $12 per day. No validation needed or maximum height on vehicles.

Yes. Please bring your own food & drink for your enjoyment while you are on the water. No food or drink will be provided for you. Alcohol is allowed, and we prefer canned over bottled beverages.

All of our trips come fully equipped with all necessary tackle but you may certainly bring your own if you wish. We fish with all custom made Cousin gear and our reels are supplied by Alan Tani.

Please arrive 20-30 minutes before any trips to allow for parking and boarding the boat.

We suggest dressing in layers as early mornings tend to be chilly, but the temperatures rise as the day progresses. Sunblock and a hat are essential even on cloudy days and we always recommend bringing a camera. Please wear something with a non-slick sole that can get wet. If you are susceptible to seasickness, plan to take motion sickness medication before your trip.
